The short version: the numbers you type into a calculator on this site never leave your browser. Everything below explains what does get collected and why.
Tuition, salary, loan balance, whatever you type into the MBA ROI, cost, loan payment, or salary tools, is processed with JavaScript running locally on your device. That data is not sent to a server, saved to a database, or attached to your identity in any way. Close the tab and it's gone.
Like most websites, we log standard analytics: which pages get visited, roughly how long someone stays, what device and browser they used, and which page referred them here. This is aggregate traffic data, not tied to a name, and it helps us see which calculators and guides people actually use so we can fix or expand the ones that get traffic.
We run Google AdSense, which places cookies to serve and measure ads and may use them for ad personalization unless you opt out. The cookie banner on this site lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies; declining does not stop the calculators from working, since they run client-side regardless.
Some pages reference public data from the College Scorecard (U.S. Department of Education) and the Bureau of Labor Statistics. We do not send your calculator inputs to either of those agencies or to any third party; the reference figures on this site are static values we cite, not a live lookup of your information.
A few pages link to lenders or financial products through affiliate arrangements. If you click through and take an action, we may receive a referral payment. That arrangement never changes what a calculator computes or what a page recommends.
